Reaction to dream job on Maui

I was surprised and overjoyed to get such overwhelming positive response to my three blogposts about dream jobs on Maui.

“Did you click the SEND button? Did you apply for the job in Haiku?”

“We miss you. Come back.”

“I’d be thrilled if you returned.”

“Go to paradise. You are the green plant that glistens and bends and grows and glows to the tune of an island breeze.”

I felt flattered that they paid attention to my blog posts and responded with these warm words of encouragement and welcome.

“What about the ukulele club you’re setting up here? You’ve only just started.”

True, I’ve only just started my new life after Maui, and there is much to do.

But then I have unfinished business on Maui. I daresay, there is only one person who doesn’t want me back on Maui. Ironically, it’s someone I’ve not yet had the pleasure of meeting.
